The stone house „Casa Nocino“ near Todi is situated in the green heart of Italy in the region of Umbria, not far away from the charming medieval town Perugia. The house belongs to an estate with two further houses, “Casa Morninello” and “Casa Roseto”.
The property offers a marvelous view on the surrounding landscape with its rolling hills and green valleys.
In order to maintain the original character of the house, it was restored in the old style. Thereby the ceiling beams, terracotta floors and stylish hand-made furniture were preserved. With country chic style equipment, the fine fabrics and curtains and the carefully chosen furniture and fittings, the house is ideal for a couple or a small family looking for relaxation in a peaceful atmosphere.
The house disposes of a cosy living room with fire-place and a traditionally tiled kitchen corner with fridge, horizontal freezer, 5-stove-burners, 2 ovens (microwave and electric), dishwasher and toaster. A washing machine is also available. Two romantic bedrooms recall the warm, traditional atmosphere of the old country houses. Sat-TV, CD- and DVD-player and wifi-internet connection are also at your disposal.
Outdoors anyone seeking relaxation can spend happy hours in the circular swimming pool with whirlpool (open 21.03. - 31.10., on the beautiful covered terrace. Available on demand is a wellness-area with Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath and gym.

Umbria is said to be the “green heart” of Italy and is often compared with Tuscany. The landscape offers many aims for nature lovers with smooth cultivated hills, steep mountains, as e.g. the 2470 m high Monte Vettore, wild waterfalls and impressive lakes. Etruscans, Langobards, Romans and Byzantines have left their traces also in these regions and ensure a rich treasure of historical artefacts. In the surroundings you will find the medieval town of Todi, surrounded by a city wall. The wonderful „Piazza del Popolo“ with the dome of „Santa Maria Annunziata“ and many more historic buildings are quite famous. Other known places include the pilgrimage site Assisi, which was nominated World Cultural Heritage by the UNESCO and Spoleto, Spello, the medieval city of Perugia, as well as the Trasimeno lake and the waterfall of Marmore are worth seeing and easily accessible by car.
